Avagahaswedham

Avagaha means 'submerged' in Sanskrit. During Avagaha Sweda treatment, the patient is made to sit in neck- or navel-deep warm water, medicated with herbal extracts. The level of water in the tub used for this is decided by a vaidyan (Ayurvedic doctor), depending upon the patient's health and the body part being treated
